The “bodies” series is based on artistic research with honey bees. It consists of two individual images each, which are worked out on the basis of a wax positive in the materials concrete and metal. The work references the serial processes in a bee colony, the repetitions and the number of bees that live and die in a colony. The two pictures show 40 freely interpreted bee bodies, which in turn refer to mortality with the materiality of “rust”.
